I love a good breakfast. Not some wimpy milk and cereal kind of meal – I’m talking about a hearty and delicious steak and eggs breakfast burrito type of breakfast!
The problem is that the kind of breakfast food I like to eat takes too long to make on the average morning and makes my work clothes smell like I’ve been cooking delicious breakfast foods. That’s no good. Besides, we’re usually rushing around in the morning to get kids off to school or me off to work, so we end up settling for quick and easy meals instead – like cereal.
But no longer! I recently found a recipe for breakfast burritos on The Art Of Manliness that looked pretty good, so I ended up spending some time in the kitchen this past weekend whipping up my own version. What I ended up with were 16 delicious, hearty, mouthwatering steak and egg breakfast burritos that I stored in my freezer for a quick on-the-go meal.
Now all I need to do on a typical busy morning is pull one of these bad boys out of the freezer and pop it into the microwave for two minutes. The burrito is ready and waiting for me just as the coffee machine is done brewing. A perfect start to any day!
